The Archaeological Museum of \u0110erdap in Kladovo presents important testimonies of the various cultures of the prehistoric, Roman and medieval periods. Medieval Ottoman Fetislam Fortress is 650 meters away from the museum. Built by order of Suleiman the Magnificent in the 16th century, Fetislam (\u201cVictory of Islam\u201d or \u201cRampart of Faith\u201d) consists of two fortifications: the Small and the Big City (Mali and Veliki Grad).<\/p>

At 3.7 km from Fetislam Fortress, on the main road Kladovo – Belgrade, there are visible old river terraces that show the position of the Danube during the last ice age. This confirms that the village of Kladu\u0161nica was built in the former river bed of the Danube.<\/p>

Near the main road, 2.8 km from Kladu\u0161nica, is the Roman fortification Diana Karata\u0161, built at the end of the 1st century AD. It was one of the strongholds for the Dacian wars and also had a role in ensuring navigation on the Danube.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The largest hydro-technical building on the Danube with a total length of 1278 m, Hydroelectric Power Plant \u201cDjerdap 1\u201c is 2.5 km upstream from Diana and is an exceptional attraction of industrial heritage.<\/p>

4 km upstream, along the main road Kladovo – Belgrade there is a series of sedimentary rocks of diverse composition and granulation, called the Sinaia Flysch, formed during the period of intense tectonic activity about 130-140 million years ago, when the formation of the Carpathians began.<\/p>

Contiguous with the zone of the Sinaia Flysch is the rocky Djeverin Peak (434 m) with a beautiful view towards the Sip Gorge and the Hydroelectric Power Plant “Djerdap 1”. Although older, this about 150 million years old massive limestone block is tectonically elevated in relation to the nearby Sinaia Flysch.<\/p>

In Tekija, which is the last point of this georoute, 7.3 km away from Djevrin, there is the Geointerpretative Center of the Djerdap National Park. It provides promotional materials and information on hiking trails, georoutes and other tourist facilities of the Djerdap National Park and Djerdap UNESCO Global Geopark.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
