Education at all levels is at the core of the geopark concept, from university researchers to local community groups. UNESCO Global Geoparks promote the links of geological heritage with natural and cultural heritage, clearly demonstrating that geodiversity is the foundation of all ecosystems and the basis of human interaction with the landscape.<\/p>

Local communities and indigenous peoples should be actively involved as key stakeholders in the geopark, which is aimed to provide for the social and economic needs of local populations, protect the landscape in which they live and conserve their cultural identity.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
