Geodiversity Day celebrations, <strong>Djerdap UNESCO Global Geopark<\/strong> has successfully completed the art contest titled <strong>&#8220;My Favourite Fossil in Djerdap Geopark&#8221;<\/strong>. The response from students of various ages was significant, and the creativity they displayed exceeded our expectations.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7eb1ba02 aux-appear-watch-animation aux-fade-in-up elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7eb1ba02\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Following a careful selection process, an exhibition of the most successful works was organized. The winning entry, a drawing of an ammonite created by An\u0111ela Nikoli\u0107 (a grade VI-2 student at &#8220;Vuk Karad\u017ei\u0107&#8221; Elementary School in Donji Milanovac), was chosen to represent our Geopark in the prestigious European contest for &#8220;EGN Fossil of the Year 2026,&#8221; organized by the European Geoparks Network.<\/p><p>We owe special gratitude to our partner schools and their teachers for their cooperation, dedication, and motivation of the students from: &#8220;Vuk Karad\u017ei\u0107&#8221; Elementary School, Donji Milanovac (including the satellite classroom in Mosna) and\u00a0 &#8220;Velimir Marki\u0107evi\u0107&#8221; Elementary School, Majdanpek.<\/p><p>All participating schools will be presented with letters of appreciation for their
