Relict residual forests are represented with the communities of beech and walnut.<\/p><p>On the other hand, Sokolovac is a limestone terrain, with a developed karst and a narrow rocky belt, which extends over its entire length. It is dominated by relict polydominant forest and shrub communities with lilac (Syringa vulgaris), pubescent oak (Quercus pubescens), Oriental hornbeam (Carpinus orientalis), Turkey oak (Quercus cerris), ash (Fraxinus spp.), maple (Acer spp.), Turkish hazel (Corylus colurna) and beech (Fagus moesiaca). The viewpoint Sokolovac is accessible via a marked <a href=\"https:\/\/geoparkdjerdap.rs\/en\/pesacke_staze\/hiking-trails-and-lookouts-of-the-djerdap-national-park\/#bosman-sokolovac\">hiking
