European Geoparks Network (EGN) Coordination Committee Meeting in Romania
The 47th Coordination Committee Meeting of the European Geopark Network (EGN) was held in the UNESCO World Geopark Hateg in Romania from 27th to 30th March 2023 years. The meeting was attended by representatives of 94 geoparks from 28 countries, including representatives of UNESCO World Geopark Djerdap.

New evaluation of Djerdap UNESCO World Geopark
Djerdap UNESCO Global Geopark was declared in 2020. Yesterday, the documentation for the revalidation of Djerdap UNESCO Global Geopark was officially sent to UNESCO, Directorate for Environmental and Earth Sciences, UNESCO Global Geoparks.
Memorandum on cooperation between Djerdap Geopark and the Geological Survey of Serbia

Workshop on Souvenirs of Djerdap UNESCO World Geopark
On December 14, the Workshop Souvenirs of the Djerdap UNESCO World Geopark was held in the hall of JP “Djerdap National Park”. The production of souvenirs in the area of Djerdap Geopark, and above all in the Djerdap National Park, has a long tradition, and apart from individual producers, souvenirs were also made by entrepreneurs, entire families, and women’s associations.

Exhibition about Djerdap Geopark in Majdanpek
On October 31st, a photo exhibition ” Djerdap Geopark” – Journey through the first and so far the only geopark in Serbia, was opened in the Gallery of the Culture Center “Majdanpek” in Majdanpek. The gathered visitors were greeted by Dijana Injac, gallerist, on behalf of the “Majdanpek” Cultural Center.
