As a result of long-standing cooperation and the signing of an open-ended Memorandum of Cooperation between the UNESCO Global Geopark Vis Archipelago and the UNESCO Global Geopark Djerdap, a joint promotional flyer entitled “TWO UNESCO GLOBAL GEOPARKS – ONE STORY OF EARTH, WATER AND PEOPLE” has been created with the aim of presenting and promoting the geological, natural and cultural heritage of these two areas.

Participation in the 53rd Meeting of the European Geoparks Network
Representatives of the UNESCO Global Geopark Djerdap participated in the 53rd meeting of the Coordination Committee Council of the European Geoparks Network, held from March 23 to 26, 2026, at the Karawanken-Karavanke UNESCO Global Geopark, together with colleagues from UNESCO Global Geoparks across Europe.
World Water Day in Djerdap National Park and Djerdap UGGp
World Water Day was marked by an educational workshop dedicated to the importance of water and the preservation of aquatic ecosystems.Through the lecture, students had the opportunity to learn more about the significance of water for life on Earth, as well as about the waters within the Park itself.
