The Starica Mountaineering Club from Majdanpek and the Mountaineering Association of Serbia organized a competition of the best mountain runners from Serbia called the “Fifth Round of the Trekking League of Serbia” on August 7th 2022.
Memorandum on cooperation between two geoparks
In the last decade of July, Djerdap Geopark and Geopark in the establishment of Biokovo-Imotska Jezera from the Republic of Croatia signed a Memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the area of the two geoparks and the preservation of geoheritage.

XXII Parks Sport Games – TARA 2022
Tara National Park hosted the participants of the XXII Parks Sport Games from June 16-19th. Games were held under the slogan “Feel like a tsara”. This sports event is for the institutions that deals with environmental protection and nature protection.

Red Bull Fortmaster 2022 race
On Saturday, May 28, the Red Bull Fortmaster race was held near the Golubački grad Fortress, in the natural environment of the Đerdap National Park. This year’s race is part of a four-year Red Bull Fortmaster project, designed to hold races at four Serbian fortresses.

Visit of a geologist from the Czech Republic
The geological structure of the Djerdap area is always a challenge for geologists of various disciplines. The group of geologists from the Geological Institute of the Czech Republic, the Technical University of Prague and the Technical University of Ostrava, led by Academician Zdenek Vashichek, visited the Geopark from 4-9th of May.
